Have to say no on the mash, I'm trying to get away from super stiff track frames at the moment too (next sale thread - dolan track champion). I'd consider a good quality modern steel road bike (eg 725 genesis equilibrium), or Alu with similar geometry (Giant defy 1?). Basically I have an all-out race geo bike now but I still need something for longer days in the saddle. I'd love it to be the roubaix but I can't really justify it, as it will also be something to commute on and ride on wet weather days.

Last chance bump before I try and sell this elsewhere. I'd much rather see it go to someone here!
