The home delivery business would be massively improved if we could all just choose one courier company to always do our final delivery - doesn't matter much which one each of us chooses, although we should get some kind of discount if all of the flats in my block pick the same one. Then the shipper can pick their favourite to deliver everything to the various depots, and we'd all get one delivery instead of, as sometimes happens when one has been on a modest online shopping spree, 4 different vans coming round at various times on the same day.
