Any recommendations for audio conversion software for Windows?

I'm specifically trying to do the following. I have a folder structure (my old iTunes library) and I want to point whatever conversion software at it and batch convert all of the Apple lossless files into MP3. I'd rather not use iTunes!

dBpoweramp Music Convertor is the bees knees for this.
If you pay the low low shareware price it also uses all of your processor cores, which looks cool and is very fast.
