Police blocking off Camberwell New Road at the Camberwell end this morning as I went past. Twitter suggests a cyclist was involved. Anyone hear any different?

Happened between Flodden Road and County Grove, again this is only from Twitter so no firm details. I went past around 08:30 and it seemed like they had only just closed the road.

Fingers crossed.

They were just closed it at Camberwell Green when I went through just before 8am - couldn't actually see any sign of a collision though.

Road now re-opened, another tweet suggests hit and run. At work so can't research much more

Road was closed at 8:55 bike from what i saw there was a bike in the middle of the road. Fingers crossed.

The road being reopened so quickly suggests minor injuries at the very worst.
