For Sale: Nice Tubular Track Wheels Mavic/DA

Hi,

I've got some really nice rather light tubular track wheels that are surplus to requirements. Truly awesome to ride.

Both were handbuilt in the early nineties as far as I can tell. Both wheels are true and hubs are smooth. Both are fitted with brand new tubular tyres.

There is a problem with the rear hub...explained below.

Prices are difficult to estimate although I've looked at the cost of each individual part (where available) and pitched them at where I think is a fair price point.

NEITHER WHEEL CAN SAFELY BE USED WITH A BRAKE - TRACK ONLY

Front Wheel - £60

• Unknown low flange Dura Ace hub
  
• 28h Mavic GL330 Rim (usually £70 by itself if you can find one I'm told)
  
• Hoshi Industries Double Butted Spokes
  

• New Vittoria Rally Tub fitted
  Rear Wheel - £40

• Mavic 520 Hub with Mavic lock ring (missing lock nut on non drive side, photo of both sides of hub attached with equiv missing part highlighted on drive side)

• 24h Mavic Mach2 CD2 rim

• Unknown Japanese bladed spokes

• New Vittoria Rally Tub fitted
  Happy to post at buyers cost but expect delays as I work full time and courier collections can be tricky.

Wheels are in SE8.

Yes these are still for sale.

I did have a PM from somebody who thought they might have a replacement lock-washer for the rear hub but I haven't heard anything back.

Nursery evasion is a crime punishable by death in these parts. It would be a shame to see you lynched for it.

BTW...should have mentioned in the original ad...sprocket not included but lockring is included.
