I think this would look great cleaned up and left as is. Three speed/ single speed, meh.
If you are looking for a fixie skidder then I think this is the wrong bike. If you want a vintage frame then get one in that state and if you sell this cleaned up it should fund that. A newer frame will also solve your wheel size issue for your newer and blander single speed.
