A friend of mine is being offered a Klein Attitude which I believe is a 2004 frame. It's been built by friend of friend with mostly 2009 XT/XTR components. I'm being asked if I think it's a good buy... I'm not sure! Condition wise, I believe it's supposed to be fine.
Components:
Race face deus carbon bars.
Richey wcs stem.
Avid juicy 7 carbon brakes.
XT shifters,
xtr rear mech.
Xtr spd pedals .
Race face deus cranks.
Magic cross ride wheels.
Manitou SL shocks.
Selle Italia saddle.
As a "sweetener" the seller is throwing in a couple of GT Zaskar frames (one is supposed to be quite new) and a couple of rockshox forks (no idea on model numbers as yet).
Assuming the bike is structurally sound, good condition (it's had very light use since being built up), would anyone value this at around £1000 (the asking price)? Obviously, he'll go check it out before making any commitment etc.
