For Sale: Vivalo NJS Special - Silver

Bit of a long post!

Fancy a change from the Vivalo - so I am splitting it -please see the bottom of this post for split items.

As wonderful as it is to ride, and even though I've pumped a load of money into it - it just isn't right for me.

The frame is the most responsive thing I've ever ridden. It is twitchy in a good way and easy to control and soaks up the bumps and road hum like nobodies business. It is just delightful to ride.

The condition is very good, with a couple of scratches here and there from every day use. TT is 54CM and CC is 52CM.

Will also include the Hatta Swan headset and 75BB with the frame.

I can deliver the frame to most places in London but preferably central and I am looking for £300 which I think is a fair price but shoot me down if not.

Think that is everything, if I've forgotten anything then ask away.

The bike is built up differently now, but the frame is in exactly the same condition as in the below photos.

Velocity Deep V's laced to 32H Phil Wood hubs - very good condition, spin as smooth wonderfully. Front MSW, Rear NMSW.
Condor 17t cog and Phil lock ring included (Italian threaded.)
Looking for £200 or trade in your or my favour depending on the wheels.
Oh and will split if and when I have to for £110 and £90 for rear and front respectively. Also, gatorskins not included.

Nitto S83 seat post - marks above maximum insertion line - could be polished out £40

80MM Nitto Jag stem - very good condition - £40

Nitto RB260AA risers with Soyo SV grips (almost brand new, used twice) - £40

Silver Sugino RD2 165mm Cranks w/ stronglight 48T chainring - good condition - £35

MKS Sylvan pedals with medium MKS cages and Christoph straps - good condition straps, very good condition cages and pedals - as smooth as butter - £20

Dia Compe clamp on front brake - £30

Silver dirty harry - £5

I was very excited and it'll be a great shame to see her go, if nobody wants her at this price, she will stay with me. Not letting her go for less than she deserves.

I don't want to just jump into something and regret it (a la Vivalo) so I am not sure yet. I am really drawn to the TFG Dart - not sure why as it is nothing out of the ordinary but every build I've seen looks pretty sweet.

If not I could go for an S2 - despite the fact that it won't ride as nicely as the Vivalo, I have all the parts I'd need to build it up to a fairly decent standard and I will actually be able to get a frame that fits me properly this time.

Get a proper bike fit, then decide on the frame.

How pretty a bike looks is not going to make a poor fitting frame ride any better.

True dat - very much tempted to do so. I seem to recall TFG having a bike fitting rig in-store and thanks I will!

Jake, go to a qualified or experienced fitter. Ask them how long they have been doing fittings for.

Hi Tom, the clamp on is silver but I have someone interested in taking the lot at the moment including the brake but I'll let you know if it falls through.

Oh right yeah. I read that bit at the top and then had forgotten by the time I'd scrolled down.

Someone is tomorrow ;-) for a knockdown bargain price! But if I split it and delivered each part, it would be costing me in valuable time - so don't mind losing out on a bit of cash.
