Wanted: Website Designer in London

Hi all,

I need to find a website designer to create a small website for my family business.

Something simple, around 5 pages in total, with pages linked to QR codes.

I have most of the text ready and most of the artwork. I have also purchased the domain name.

Any advice / recommendation will be welcome - I will obviously pay for it.

It must be someone based in London so we can meet up and work on the website together.

I am clued about bikes & costs but I have no idea how much web design costs...

^ this is happening more and more frequently now as LFGSS is at the top of google rankings I think. Or maybe I just notice it more. I don't suppose it matters, but it is weird to think lfgss member A requests service / part Z from LFGSS community. Google sends it to the world. Non-forumenger replies.

You should work on your own website first mate, it doesn't scream quality work...

I used Wordpress which is free and purchased a theme from http://themeforest.net/ which I would really recommend. If you do it yourself you'll be much better able to change them in the future with no cost.

I was in this exact position a couple of months ago - I needed to create a website (for my former employer, a small business) from scratch. A helpful forum member hooked me up with Merlin Mason who was ace. Built the whole site in a week and was a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend.

That website is remarkable! We really need a sticky to his services.

Oh, I had meant to quote the getonfast guy.

That is spam, and usually I'd delete it. But that site is so horrendous that it's a very good example of what not to do, and truly should be costing them business.

It should stay so we can mock it.
