Bent downtube?
Can you post a photo of the problematic area? -

Got a peace of straight cardboard to check the tubes.
Sorry, but the seat tube and top tube are also bent.
Looks like the seat tube and head tube are not parallel to each other so it might not me ridable.
Anyone interested in the lugs? :]
Also maybe someone interested in restoring it? -

can you provide photos where we see the damages?

Ouch... Such a lovely frame.
All the tubes bent? That hurt.
The turned headtube kinda ruins it. Can you Pm me a reasonable price for it. May worth a try restoring it in to shape. -

Hello,
I've got a lovely 1982 De Rosa Super Prestige road frame (no front forks)
Here's one just like it: http://bikeadelic.blogspot.com/2011/04/de-rosa-super-prestige-1982.html
These De Rosa frames where made celebrating Eddy Merckx’s Super Prestige trophy wins.
Columbus SL tubing;
DEROSA dropouts;
The frame has been repainted in dark metallic violet.
It's has been stored in a garage for a long time under i pile of stuff so the down-tube got bent by 2mm sideways.
There are no cracks and the frame feels strait and rigid.
Also there are a couple of small paint chips but no rust. Cosmetically it's in great shape.
Seat tube: 58cm c-c (59,5cm c-t);
Top tube: 57,5cm c-c;
Head tube: 16,5cm;
O.L.D.: 120mm (perfect for track hub);
BB thread: Italian;
Weight of frame: 2050g;
Seat post: 27,2mm;
SOLD: 70 quid
Paypal only.
