  • nice... sort out the handlebar and saddle angle and you'll get £20 more:)

p.s not a super record if it has DA groupset

  • Ha ha. Yeah good point about the angle of the bars. Sure the buyer can quickly fix so I dont have to retake photos.
Ps. The frame has about 4 stickers on it saying 'Super Record' so not sure what else it can be then? Any ideas....??

  • price drop

  • hi there, have sent pm

  • am a new member, but very interested!! dont think i can send pm yet. has it been sold?

  • Yes. It's still available

  • i presume new tubes/tyres are required, but are the wheels true?

  • Yes the wheels are true and you will need to replace the tyres and tubes as they have perished. Would you like to come and view the bike? I'm in W11 (westbourne park)

  • p.s not a super record if it has DA groupset

I believe the Super Record refers to the frame as in it being an Alan Super Record frame and not to Campagnolo Super Record components.

    PS. Lovely.....wish....wish....wish etc

  • Thanks for the info Marxist-fixie much appreciated. I don't know the exact history of the frame and bike as I bought it from a seller from the netherlands on this forum (brig7) and although the bike is lovely it is just too small for me.

  • I'm 6'2 is the bike too small?

  • I'm 6'4 and the top tube and reach was just a bit too short. Should be ok for someone of your size

  • going on eBay this weekend if not sold on here

  • Right bike wrong bloody size...so bump for a nice Alan.

  • Potential dibs for a friend, PM incoming.

  • Nice bike. I'd be interested in coming to see it. (I'm just up the road in Clapham)

  • Whilst this bike is a massive bargain and quite beautiful, it's not an Alan Super Record as it doesn't have shot-in seatstays, but rather pinned connections. It is an Alan Competition (i.e. has a different tubing and a different feel to a Super Record).

    I still would though!
