Upon spying a docking station, a complete fucking moron on a Boris Bike came to a complete stop, without warning in the middle of a bus lane on the hipster highway this morning. A couple of cyclists gave her some friendly advice as they swerved past, and as I was about to cruise by in my commuting Zen bubble, she tried to bunny-hop up the curb with the grace of a three-legged cow and flew over the bars for a lamppost face-plant before crumpling to an undignified heap on the pavement.

I couldn't muster the empathy to care about her condition and rolled past ambivalently.

Is that what they were doing? I thought they were busting some cyclists down. The one on the railings yelled out at me as I passed, no idea he was offering bike marking, it sounded a little like "OiyaHaftashmrgh" at the time".

As I saw the officer staring at me a I finished skidding around CB, I did assume that it was some form of crackdown. He then said what sounded like free bike parking, but I came to the conclusion that it must have been marking.

Maybe they need to work on their advertising strategy.

Since i wasnt doing anything wrong and was curious and riding slowly i saw that there were some bikes upside down and a popo was painting i realised that it was free markings day.
