After a fruitless search for a threaded fork with a long steerer I recently took a punt on these

1" threaded, drilled for a brake and with 250mm of steerer. They should be arriving in the next few days, I can report back (including news on how much import duty I get stung for) if you like?
They have a couple of European distributors listed on their website but I didn't get any joy when I enquired.
