• Hi, I just received my Elite Volare mag turbo trainer this morning and i can't seem to get the wheel centred on the roller part of the trainer. My main concern is whether this will be damaging to the roller mechanism or not? It isn't fully over to either side but it is off centre, by around one tyre with of a 25c tyre surface area to the non-driveside of centre.(if that makes sense) Can anyone help clear this up for me???

    Thank you!

P.S hope this is in the right section, i'm new.

  • under the roller are 2 alankey bolts. When loosened you can slide the roller left and right (or up and down for different sized wheels). Should be enough there to get your wheel roughly center?
However, I've never bothered to get my wheel spot on center on the roller and I've had no problems with my turbo so far.

Thanks, i have obviously adjusted it using the bolts but on my trainer it has a little plastic peg that has to be situated in the H gate and that is what is stopping me centreing the wheel, as it is as far over as it goes. I have ridden it a few times now and it doesnt seem to make any difference so hopefully this won't cause any problems. Thanks for your help.
