Anyone want to do some mountain biking?

Well up for a few rides before the summer is out. Anyone interested?

If anyone wants to go mountain biking up in the lakes i could put people up come september..

Tempting. I may dig out my old man's bike/borrow a mate's and look you up for a mid-week one.

25 mile canal loop sunday finished off with a mtb forray around sandwell valley, loop starts on the broad st basin...

i'd book some time off for a mid week ride in the lakes.

Just a note 2squeak, cannot make it sunday. This lakes thing sounds promising, but I would love to get out to wales again. Went to Nant Yr Arian recently and it was a hoot. Coed y brenin apparently even better, the trail setups are so well maintained and convenient.

There's always Cannock Chase for something closer (and reachable by train).

Trail fairies been at work in Sandwell Valley, Jubilee Woods..

Cannock is probably one of my favourite places to ride just for the amount of times I can go up there and still be discovering new stuff that the trail fairies have laid down

The trail centres in Wales are all pretty good as well with the trails at Nant y Arian being the best one that I've ridden.

Clent Hills has had the trail fairies visit as well, pretty decent. Theres a neat dh run which ends up at the French Hen..handy..

I totally forgot clent existed, might have a pootle over there as there seems to be some easy spots for a beginner like me. It might be unnerving riding stuff that trail fairies (local riders?) have built as I would have no idea how hard/dangerous it might be come round the next corner.

Nant Yr Arian was really consistent all just the right level for me.
