People who think Surrey is all rich people and chauffeurs have obviously never been to Croydon, Chertsey, Addlestone, Park Barn, the list* goes on!

Chapeau to everyone who turned up to the Relay Race Alleycat (all 5 of us).
That day I spotted some guy with an orange bike and white trispoke on a bench on Magdalen Bridge, I shouted "Do alleycats!" at you and you probably thought I was a loony.
And a guy who I spoke to at Cholsey station who had just moved to Wallingford and rode fixed. Nice to meet you.

Question: Best cycling club in oxford?
-
• #115
Depends on what you're after I guess. My favourite cycling club are the TrampBeersOutTheBackOfCycleCentre CC

The JOHNANDARTHURFGCC are by far the best....

Seriously though I think most of the clubs around Oxford say on their websites that you're welcome to go along on a training ride or two to see what you think.
On a different note:
Not strictly bike related (although it's a great destination to cycle to) but Wallingford Bunkfest is on next weekend, most of the attractions are free but they are still looking for volunteers to help with stewarding etc. If anyone's interested in helping out what is always a great weekend please get in touch via http://bunkfest.co.uk/comeandjoinus.html -

I enjoy cycling with the Cowley Road Condors (laid-back for the most part, their tuesday morning rides are usually average speed only around 27kph), but if you want regular hard training rides you could also try Zappi's.
