what do you think about this Grandis MTB frame?

  • ... I m thinking to convert my old MTB by Grandis for a road use... what do you think?

  • switching to rigid forks?

Seems a shame to re-purpose a nice mtb but at least it'll get used. Can look great if done well.

Yes. I m not using it as MTB. I m trying to do it properly, even if for the moment I m not completely sudisfy of the forks that I found (estetically speaking). I m going for rigid forks. The one that I have now are "exsausted". I m thinking if to move to a rise handlebars or a drop bars.

This are the tyre that I choose
and I was thinking to buy a Concor yellow

  • Oh my god!!!! This is sum sik bike mr!!!!!! Huw much if u sel it 2 me pleeeezzz??

  • Do you mean the Grandis or the brompton?

  • both are my all time brand new favourite bikes now!

  • thanks for your sarcasm... appreciated

  • TeddyUK, what country are you from?

  • Italy, why?

  • In my opinion yellow doesn't go with beige. I would go with a black saddle.

was trying to work out if English was your mother tongue, your vocabulary is good, but your spelling is interesting

I may start to use a good spell checker. Sorry for that

  • no worries, it is not a crime

ffs i am too lazy to use upper case letters most of the time, or punctuate full

  • DJ looking to your thread about your commuting bike (nice one, a lot) I realize that you know a lot of sources to find bike parts. I am looking for something rare now days. I need for the Grandis 1" threadless forks, suspension corrected (a-to-c is 425 mm), for 26 wheels, v-brakes ready.

For the moment, just to start to use the bike, I ordered an alu Exotic forks. Do you have any suggestions? Just if you have time. Thanks

  • You could use the opportunity to go threadless? Might be easier to find forks and a headset is pretty cheap.

What bars are they on your Brompton?

Hi Cake, it is threadless :)

The bar is a Condor low rise
