I think if you look to the above comments I stated £100 OR NEAREST OFFER. That does not mean I will only accept £100 and £100 only. I am open to offers.
Congratulations on telling someone to "fuck off" on a forum, I hope you feel really tough and intelligent now.

Selling purely because I don't have a track bike anymore. Open to offers on the price... Highest offer gets them.
i think this statement of yours is affecting most of people here..

That has now been edited and I have stated a price. I hope everyone is happy now. Clearly a lot of angry/stressed people on this forum.

this thread is going to get interesting..

Please show me where the rules state I need to add a price? It is advisory, that is all. I think a 'fucked up secret bidding war' is rather strong.
I think everyone on their high horses need to stop being so pathetic, grow up, and stop giving abuse behind a computer screen.
What I wrote was entirely applicable. It's considered good form to not be a cash raping douchebag when selling.
Good luck with the sale, good bit of kit.

You have successfully earned a ticket through to becoming a bad trader, by not listening to other form members when advised about lowering your asking price, well done. I hope you get a lot more 'low balling' offers.

If the cranks are 165mm and you'll post them I offer £35 for cranks and 48t chainring only.
They're maybe worth more and I'd probably pay more but you come across as a bit of a dick so there you go.

Pretty disgusting the way you think you can talk to someone purely because you're on teh intehnetz hiding behind a screen.
If any of you are over the age of 16 I suggest you have a think about the way you're talking because it's extremely immature and rude. Even if you were 16 and under, there's no reason why you should be talking the way you are.
The only people who have been abusive are the people who are not willing to pay what I am asking for the chainset and chainring. I am in no hurry to sell them and I certainly won't be selling them to anyone who is being abusive towards me. If you can't afford them then don't complain, it's that simple.
I ask a certain price for some bike parts and I'm a dick, muppet, and so on... brilliant. You all need to have a look at yourselves and grow up. I'd bet at least 95% of you would never act this way in real life.
I am looking for £90 or nearest to that. If you are interested them PM me.

'The only people who have been abusive are the people who are not willing to pay what I am asking for'
But no one here is willing to pay what you're asking for, does that mean everyone on this forum is abusive? hmmm....
-
• #47
The reason everyone's been calling you a dick is because you wouldn't name a price and it's well known forum etiquette to either name a price or to flog your wares somewhere else.
I bought a pair of these about a month ago in pretty much brand new condition for £75.
Just sayin'.

We're just trying to help you sell after all.

The only people who have been abusive are the people who are not willing to pay what I am asking
The logic behind this is so flawed it's comical.
I'm actually not sure if you know you're trying to rip people off or if you think inventing a price for your goods with no regard to the actual value or new selling price of them is just how the world works?

Considering 'wildstrawberries' previously said he paid £75 for some a month ago, I don't think selling mine for £15 more when you're also getting another chainring worth £40, all for £90 **ONO **is unfair whatsoever.
Or the other way of looking at it is that you could put up a price as the majority of people do or fuck off to eBay where they specialise in the sale you desire.
