I ordered my Fuji Track new in 2007 for the princely sum of £296.99, posted. First thing I did was fit a Shimano 105 brake and black out the graphics with some vinyl.
Then it went through a dodgy phase in 2008 with some yellow tires, risers and yellow Ourys. This is it in the Shoreditch Festival bike polo tournament that year.
Then it got a big overhaul later that year: Phil Wood hubs, Campagnolo Record Pista cranks, green powdercoat, but still with those ugly yellow accents.
Yellow's fading...
It went through a period with drops, two brakes and a freewheel, but for the last few years it's been like this.
I've been toying with the idea of buying a new frame recently, maybe one of those nice Cinelli's, but I can't seem to bring myself to get rid of this one, or to leave it lying unused. So maybe it's time for a spruce-up instead. What would you do with it?
