just a comment on the above - looks like they only take bank transfer or paypal payment - or have I misunderstood. it ends up being a chunk of money for a groupset if you pay via paypal (and who wants to give paypal more money?)

Hey TS - so I sold my Athena 11 sp gruppo (alu crank) that I'd bought from Planet X on this forum for £400 a few weeks ago. Very nice it was, but Chorus 11 sp latest gruppo is different gravy, esp. if you value the ability to dump the cassette at the top of a climb. By the way Planet x were doing a deal on Chorus at the same time at £830, which was UK's cheapest at the time.
ellguapo asked me to feedback when I got the Chorus delivered from Edwin at www.goedkopefietsonderdelen.com.
Well it was delivered, and has been built up onto a Look 566 frame. It came boxed, and every component was also boxed in proper Campy packaging. The items that arrived were as requested eg 12-29 cassette, 175mm crank arm length, and double pivots back and front.
All for £740 including the double pivot set and the more expensive 12-29 cassette.
In contrast, Planet x throws a groupset into a box in a load of plastic food bags. I know who I'd rather buy from...that way I get to keep the boxes and if I ever wish to sell one component or another to upgrade, I'll most likely get the best possible price.
So i can say un-categorically, that this is a bit of a bargain and that the shop is trustworthy - I am so pleased, both with the new Chorus from Edwin, and with the gorgeous new bike that'll accompany my pretty Roberts Foco/ 853/ Muscle.
ellguapo, they do indeed prefer bank transfer, which costs £10. That's how I did it. They charge an extra percentage on Paypal, which I think just goes to show what tight margins they are working to. I never worried about the transfer a second, as he's on email all the time and always quick to answer questions.
Good luck! It's a good time to take advantage of the weaker euro, however long that lasts..

Thanks as well. I sent a mail to them a few days ago and received a reply with 24 hours, so they passed that test. I might have to jump on it soon
I have just bought a brand new Chorus 2012 group set for just under £740, including a 12-29 cassette, and dual pivot brakes, which seems to me to be a pretty good deal.
As its attractive, I thought I would share the source of supply should anyone else be interested.
I bought it out of Holland, from this shop www.goedkopefietsonderdelen.com. It is owned by a very nice bloke called Edwin.
btw I am just an enthusiastic cyclist, as anyone who has traded with me before on the forum will hopefully attest!
Good luck! Nick
