sorry, yes, both are return tickets.

This is all because the chain ferry in cowes stops overnight so no point in going too fast and getting there before it starts running at 5ish, it is then 1.5-2 hours back to Ryde, so allowing for a breakfast or two you will not realistically be on a boat until after 10am
I have considered the chain ferry in my plans. THe last boat arrives in ryde at 11.35pm so if there's a pub open you're welcome to wet your whistle there but I'm not betting on it. Esp. out of season which it will be on the later run.
I think the plan will be a pleasant pace around then a long lunch on the top of blacking or just over the ridge on that nice beach head then continue around getting the chain ferry about 6ish.

King Lud, opposite Ryde Pier, were very accommodating last year, just tell them Jonny set you.

Last time, mid week, the pub at Ryde just opposite the pier was still open when we left it at 11.59

Superb writing on the black top. I need to buy whoever did that a drink!
The train deal we got last year was for groups of ten and worked out at approx 4 squid each return. -

Tim, was it direct from Southern?
Are there forms or anything similar we need?
How do we access this deal?
I remember it being cheap as chips (small portion, optional gravy) -

yes Simon! this list is /almost/ looking long enough for a venture.
-

I presume this is going to be a pretty speedy affair?
-
• #50
Can't be speedy or you end up sitting in Cowes waiting for the first ferry.
Sorely tempted. Is the ferry price a return ticket (hope it's not 22 squids each way!)?
