Yeah, that doesn't look like a 54 in any way. They might be measuring from 'end to end' rather than ctc.

59/60 cm st and 126mm OLD for all you lucky Londoners as they wont post :(
Bianchi also made bikes out of gas pipe for old men to go to the shops on (as did and still do Pinarello and a number of other sex-frame-also-makers). This, to my eye, looks like one of them.

I fear twill be people on here also after this..dibs?
But - how much would you recommend going up to for this number?
Or this?

I'm after a cheap road frame I can convert for winter duties. I could probably make a 27inch work too.
Let me know if you guys find anything.

£150 ish for the Marsh is probably reasonable in my opinion. People jizz their pants for 753, but I think it dings easily and is potentially weaker than more typical stuff like 531c or SLX.
I don't really like the Dawes. If the original forks are included and it's clean, then I don't know, £80?

Are you looking to build up a road bike or a fixie skidder?
If the latter, you're not allowed to buy the top bike, and the bottom one wouldn't be ideal.
They're also two very different sizes, it's unlikely they'd both fit you.

For the 57/57, the suggestion of 6' ish is probably reasonable. It's a relatively long TT given that the Italians from that era would have often been more like 59/57.

• #43069
^^ and yea, the Marsh isn't for skidding. Too good, and you might snap it.

Actually just saw that the Dawes is apparently 56cm. I don't believe that, and if it is it's c-t and not c-c.

• #43071
^^ Indeed, it is not for skidding. It is for me.
