yes
But certainly not that wrong as Michelin to discontinue the full green Mud and Sprint. What an idiots!
I am pretty sure you are wrong. Wildgripper is only MTB. The sprint was for riding in dry conditions and is not the samme as the Mud. The gumwalls was dropped on later editions of both cyclocross tires.
@saddle: You need to do your homework ;-)

True say. Would be cheaper getting custom made over here than buying from US for those ti bars!?
-
• #67414
nope! that's actually quite a good price for what ya get - if you do find someone though we can get a deal on 2 when they make some for my cruiser too though

Deal on 3 if you can get cromo. Need some for my Pompetamine but can't afford those mountain goat ones even before postage.

Fair play. Should have known really. I would much prefer ti but can't see it being a viable option on my budget.

[QUOTE=1000archangels;3098205] and that paint job, just wow./QUOTE]
Late 1980s Gazelle imitation. Nothing to be proud of.
Nice frame build BTW. Nice parts as well, but not all on the same bike.
I think these ARE Wildgrippers.
For sure, in the beginning with the tan side walls (as on the pic), these were called Wildgripper sprint. That was the first type with diamond tread in the centre and nobbied on the sides. Looks like there is one on the rear wheel.
The second versios was called Wildgripper Mud, a full nobby tyre.
Then we got the third, Jet.
In the meantime, the name Wildgripper may have been dropped.
I can be wrong though.
