I'm aware of this but it kinda makes sense to have a 'local' Strava post for people who don't live in London.

I was wondering if anyone uses Strava to track their rides, might be good to see where everyone else is heading out?
No. No one uses it.

I tried once and it didn't work. Lost gps connection after a mile and just gave up

I use it. Works fine for me. Haven't really done many of the segments yet, but I'll get around to it.

I've been playing around with it. There are quite a few segments on the seafront.
Only problem is that you'll never get to be KOM on a SS because all the racers are doing 30mph+!

I have some uphill KOMs on my track bike.

I've started using and like it a lot. I am going to make a segment for Ditchling Rise if anyone is interest.....going up not down :)

That sounds harsh Rich. I'm up for having a go.

Excellent, I will do it it the week and set down a marker :) I might have to end the segment before the top of the hill as its a junction so you wont want to power straight into traffic then hit 'Finish ride'

Nice. I've found and followed you Rich.

is anyone bar-mounting phones to do this?
-
• #15
Nope, just in my jersey pocket. Tried the running version tonight (shame).
Jack, I found you on there. I hear you're SCB with Andy and co.

Yeah, start recording and it'll pick up any segments you pick up on.
Jack, yeah hope they can keep you on. Paul seems great at hustling up work.
