Long time Manchester-based lurker, so hi. Anyway, I'm getting rid of some stuff to fund a new project:

Thomson Elite Seatpost - Black 27.0 x 410, good condition, some minor marks but no deep scratches - £30

Nitto B125 400mm width 25.4mm clamp, good condition, some light scratching but nothing serious - £20

Nitto Technomic stem 90mm, 1"(22.2mm) quill, 26.0mm clamp, quill is 150mm useable length, bit scuffed on the insertion but good condition otherwise - £20

Nitto 26.0mm - 25.4mm shim - £5 but free if you buy stem and bars

*Taken off frame that was for sale as decided to start selling elsewhere - all the rest still for sale*

Think I paid £30, would look for £25 as it is... headset feels a tiny bit worn but wasn't noticeable whilst riding*, paint still in pretty good nick, some wear 'n tear of course.

Seatpost is very long, meant I was comfy on this at 6ft3, but frame size will suit someone a few inches shorter too.

Will need long drop brake for running with 700c wheels, I have a Dia Compe 806 front one that I can include for extra £12 as it's pretty much as new - only used with this bike since April.

Can probably deliver in Central / South MCR, or meet for collection near Chorlton Water Park

• time and interest allowing, I'll replace bearings and re-grease this.

Ive got a Neil Orrell track bike ..virtually unused (56.5cm square)triple triangle...its in a lovely Italian flamboyant blue with white lug lining. Nitto bars, dia compe clamp on front brake etc etc. I also have a brand new set of track wheels with brand new tubs glued on.(I was selling seperately)
Had it advertised on flea bay recently.. but just got inundated with silly questions from dreamers!!!!! Had it advertised for £550 (the frame cost nearly that!) ono..but didnt sell.
I desperately need the room in the garage as I cant use it (used probably for 20 miles on the road) due to injury.
If anyone in the Manchester fixed community was interested I could let it go for £500...and I would throw in the track wheelset gratis.
If you or anyone you know are interested please PM me with your number..I could give you the full spec and email some photos.
I need the room... its a beautiful bike..but I just cant use it :(

Wanted - Mate of mine is after a reasonable second hand road bike around a 54cm frame. He's looking to do a Triathlon next year so he's after as much performance as he can get for the money. He's trying to get some funds together but limited budget so nothing over £350 complete for now.

Before people tell me to look up the page the lemond Nasty is brokering would be a nice start but he wants a working solution not a project.

Sorry for massive quote here, from what you are saying this frame would need 27" wheels yeah? I'd be interested if so

is seatpost is included btw, i'm 6ft 4 and a bit so would prob have it even higher!

WANTED: Turbo trainer- I want to race next year as i've just about started to take all my turns during the club run. Need a turbo keep up some winter fitness and prevent me falling foul of the trappiste ales. Anyone flogging one?

Tell him to check out the Triban 3 road bike in Decathlon. £299, aluminium frame, carbon forks with a Shimano 2300 STI groupset. Chainset is a triple though. What sort of level does he ride at? I don't see the Triban being particularly limiting performance wise.

You will get more second hand, but it could save him the hassle of the search.
