Are those the actuall wheelsets or just examples? If the former I like the first. Might just be the nifty shadows but it looks like it has a higher spoke count. I like a higher spoke count and I think it would suit the other parts. I don't know that the colour of the rim will make or break anything but again I think the first one plays the part better. The black(ish) rims speak to me of modernity and speed. They speak to me of technology looming on the horizon. Your lovely stem and other bits don't speak to me that way.
