Kinda knew I was being optimistic. How's a last stab at £35 before I take it off to eBay where it probably belongs?

No chance of postage at all?

Sure, if you like. Have got a decent box to put it in so can pack it well. Will look into cost if you're interested.

Sorry to jump in after someone's expressed interest but I'll give you the £35 and can collect from central.

Well, this is a difficult one because technically yours is the first dibs ReeDorDee. Shall we give a few hours benefit of the doubt? Can bring into central tomorrow if you want to collect then.
Dubmike, can you let us know your plans?

Works for me. I don't actually need it for anything, I just can't seem to turn down a cheap frame! If Mike can give it a more worthy home I'm happy for him to take it. If not, I can do central tomorrow night or London Bridge during the day. Otherwise I can be in or around central most of the day or evening Saturday (no life).

Sorry for the late reply. ReeDorDee take it fella saves rat-racer packaging it up.
I'm the same as well. Just saw a decent price and thought i'd have it for a refurb project.

Hi there
This is a bit of a long shot but I had talked to Paul (rat-racer) about swapping this frame for my PKN10 frame (exactly the same year, metallic blue etc, but a 64 cm that is too big for me) as he wanted a larger frame. I lost his number and then changed my number so he could not call me. I have ridden mine for many thousands of miles but it has always been too big really. If you have not used this frame and would consider selling it or swapping for mine (good condition, a few scratches and stickers a little patchy but no dents), I would be very grateful. Thank you, Slimlavud 07896 921115 I am in Central, North and West London.
Have been putting this off for ages because I love the colour scheme on this, but it's way too small for me. It is, I think, a very early 80s Peugeot PKN (it has an original PKN-13 sticker underneath). It has quite a nice patina – metallic silver paint with orangey-yellow original Peugeot lettering and chequerboard graphics, plus what looks like a supplying dealer’s decal (in German).
The bottom bracket thread is English (and good) and it has nice, long Simplex rear drop-outs. The front forks are fully chromed (although half-painted and with decals) and comes with what I suspect is the original headset, which is reasonably smooth but could use a look. I have another one of these frames and it runs centre-pull brakes, so I suspect there may be a cable hanger missing from the top of this one’s headset – worth mentioning but I used the frame fine without it (with side-pull calipers).
The paint is fairly good but there are scratches here and there and - sadly - a dent in the seat tube (see pic 2) which the guy I bought it from a couple of years back said happened in storage. Still looks straight, though - I used this frame as-is every day for some time and it rides fine.
Frame size is either 56 or 57 c-c, but I can check tonight. I'll hope for around £50 but will listen to offers because of that dent, otherwise it'll go to eBay. Let me know what you think.
Collection Richmond or central, dibs, PM blah...
