For Sale: Mavic MA40s, Shimano Arabesque, 600, brakes, mechs, levers, SPDs, beater wheels...

Hi all. Loads of stuff for sale in the ongoing attempts to free space in my house.

1. Mavic MA40 on campag hub 700c wheelset - £60 SOLD

2. Shimano Arabesque 170mm 52/42 crankset - £28 SOLD
   -threads and tapers perfect
   -used but still in good condition

3. Shimano Arabesque levers - £11 SOLD

4. original gum hoods

5. a bit of scuffing on fronts and hoods quite worn, reflected in price

6. Shimano Arabesque calipers - £20 SOLD

7. Shimano SPD pedals - £10

8. all tension springs working as should

9. have Shimano cleats that I'll chuck in for a fiver

10. Shimano Arabesque FD Available & RD SOLD - £5 each or £8 for both

11. annoyingly both the high and low adjusters on the front mech are seized, I've tried soaking them but not to much effect

12. the clamp that holds the cable in place is also a bit stuck, and isn't undoing with an allan key. I'm sure a good pair of mole grips would get it loose, but I don't have a pair.

13. Shimano Arabesque DT shifters - £8 SOLD

14. when I got these they were missing the fixing washer that sits on the frame, so I took some of a pair of 600 tri-color shifters I had. Doesn't effect performance at all, but worth noting.

22. I've had these in a cupboard for years, so long in fact that I can't remember much about them. I think the rear is a Mavic CXP rim, but I could be wrong. It is flip flop, but I think the flop is shot, I only ever used the fixed sprocket, which is 17T. The front is a Super Champion (now Wolber) rim on a hub that has Atom written on it. Both spin OK, and seem true. I remember the back wheel making a weird noise. All of this is reflected in the price, which I think is reasonable.
