2012-08-28 - Rider Down, Liverpool Road

At the junction with Ritchie Street/Bromfield Street (near the Angelic)

Rider was lying in the road, being attended to by 4 or 5 people with lots of police around (the road had been closed). Two ambulances arrived as I came out of Sainsburys at 7:15pm

Looked serious, but I'm hoping it wasn't.

Police still here and roads closed at 8.35- nothing known about rider...

I live round the corner from that junction and although it looks straight forward, it can be a dodgy one.

Hope the rider is ok.

I passed this at about half 8; interrogated the police but they claimed to have no info. Fingers crossed.
