I just had this pointed out to me but everyone knows it's Pride on the 1st right? Brighton is going to be mad busy which is cool but the trains might be busy? Or not maybe if it goes a bit faster and everyone heads back a bit earlier...
Also I did this* today and I thought it was better than the other route... it's a bit of a weird way to go though and maybe a little harder. I just remember a few people saying there could be more country lanes.
*actually I went under the M25 instead of over on the dual carriageway but I can see why a fixed group would choose not to take this way.

So you in or out? Found out about pride today, yeah it may be busy but hopefully we'll be on our way back to the smoke before the sunset rush....
-
• #121
Isn't your route actually shorter?!
-
• #122
I still don't know whether I'm in or out... if in I can navigate the old route or the one I did today if we need a navigator?
If it's shorter it must only be a few miles
-
• #123
Actually it's 3 miles longer I think...
-
• #124
ah I thought the other route was either 60 or 65.
Laner said he's happy to navigate, so either way we should be sorted.

didn't some forum ride do an over night to Brighton this time last year, arriving in the early hours of the 2nd. They said it was like a zombie town, everything smashed and broken but no people around.
Cool :) Could you add me to the list, then? (I'm on my phone... see, what a hipster!)
I am meant to be in Brighton the next day, does anyone fancy camping by the sea on the Saturday night?
