A cassette lock ring tool won't also remove a freehub. That would be allen keys or spanners etc... dependent on what hub.

Woops, I mean cassette tool, I'm using it for centre lock rotors, I'm not familiar with modern gear setups... Thanks for the correction.

Don't get a used one. They will wear out eventually. You can get them for less than a tenner posted from ebay.
Or pop into your lbs.
The one I use at work (made by Pro) wasn't that expensive.

Has anyone got a shimano cassette removal tool, park branded preferable, but cyclus would also be fine.
