Hi, these are the metal fitting straps (fit pretty much all types, just need 2 slots to thread straps through) and are now available at £15 a pair. They work really well with MKS sylvan and track type pedals. I would have to paypal post, but its free postage. If you would like some just pm, cheers, Barry

A big thanks to forum members that bought the straps yesterday, they are being posted today. There are now 5 pairs available.Thanks, Barry.

I bought some of these from Barry back in February.

The straps are excellent quality, they've been on my beater pub bike the past 7 months and they barely look worn in. The stitching seems bullet proof and there are no signs of it failing. Whilst the rest of the bike is constantly filthy the straps seem to repel crap and still look relatively black.

I was originally curious to see how easy it would be to get in and out of these on a set of DMR V12 pedals. The weight of the strap makes the pedal hang flat and as you pull away its easy to turn it right way up with your toe, hook your foot under and be fully in within half a crank turn. Like clipping in it becomes second nature.

They do loosen over time, as the velcro slowly pulls away from each other but I just reset mine every few weeks and to be honest it's not really an issue - I'm just trying to find something remotely negative to say.

^thanks for review, glad they holding up well. After I have made the straps I give them a coating of silicone, it's repels some of the rain and stops them getting too mucky from road grime on wet days.
