In answer to some of he Pm'd questions, the electric wheel is a 700c and would suit a hybrid or something with a bit of clearance as the tyres are 35mm wide. It is standard rim braking but comes with a brake lever which you use instead of your existing front lever. The lever is wired so when pulled it brakes/ cuts the motor so its not fighting the brakes. The wheel is designed to be fitted to the front of a bike but i managed to fit it to the rear of an old steel framed racer with flexible rear stays, but then you have no way of peddling of course, but fun!
I bought it for a bit of fun and haven't rode much with it but the battery holds a charge well and it is surprisingly powerful. Obviously best on the flat or slight incline but will assist on steeper climbs combined with light peddling. The guy i got it from has had it since new and assured me he'd get 25 miles out of a charge. I have no reason to doubt his as the battery is still showing as fully charged after approx 5 miles and sitting for 2 months in the garage! It's pretty well used but has loads of life in it.
Any more questions please ask!
