Is "a hot pace" so called because the guy on the front has a bine in his mouth? Or is that just a fleck on the picture?

"Great gift" - Would anyone like to buy me No. 4? I used to play here as a kid before I knew it was a cycling track. We used to have our school sports day there too. Sadly, it's been flattened to make way for a rugby club in the last 5 years or so :(
