I have to say that this line of thinking really irritates me, and essentially just boils down to what stickers are on the frame. Brand snobbishness.
Perhaps so, but it's nothing out of the ordinary, they may have decades of design improvement (or fail), but it's still just another Trek Madone with some improvement (like BB30) every couple or so years.
Sure I'm being snobbish, but then I like to see other's manufacturer frame I haven't seen yet rather than the same ol' Madone/Tarmac/TCR/etc.
Mind you I'll go for the Madone if the bike fitter tell me it fit me the best, even thought I dislike Trek as a company.
