Bargain of the century!
-
• #3
I should add: tyres are as new Gatorskin Ultras.

What hubs are on the wheels please? Interested if you split and they're 10-speed Shimano compatible.
-
• #5
The hubs are OLE! Which has a 7 speed block on it. So whatever Suntour's interoperability was in the 90s, this will be it.

Here are details of the 1989/1990 Ole group set, situated at about the Athena level in context of Superbe Pro:http://www.equusbicycle.com/bike/suntour/suntourscans.html

Nicest full bike I've seen for sale here.
-
• #15
sold, sincere apologies to everyone that I've had to disappoint.
Here's a rather rare build, comprised of:
ROBERTS FRAME made of:
Columbus Max tubing throughout with tubes selected for an ultralight frame. Really light bike (lighter than my Foco/853 build) but plenty stiff for a tall person.
58cm top tube - suggest 6ft 1/2 inch- 6ft 3"
Build:
Full Suntour OLE groupset - WOW!
Harry Rowland Mavic Open Pros (36 spokes) ridden about 20 miles!
Selle Italia Flite Titanium saddle (+optional)
Cinelli Bar & stem
Nice condition, few small marks and nicks but very little for a 15+ year old bike. Dry stored in France.
Asking £420 ex saddle - so considering wheels are as new and worth £200, this is a sharp price for a beautifully preserved Roberts+rare groupset+alu bits.
London NW2. Pick up anytime.
