I have a friend who pulled into a petrol station because his car's temp gauge was nearing the red. As he pulled up next to the air/water dispenser, flames licked out of the engine bay (he was not aware it was on fire until that point), so he ran into the shop bit to get an extinguisher and the guy just looked at him blankly and said, "What do you want me to do about it, it's not my problem". So my mate just emptied a sand bucket over the car while the guy shouted at him and told him he'd have to pay for the sand.
