I've seen that method - it looks appealing, and a little more controlled than just doing it freehand. I've been watching a few tutorials for 'bursts on youtube as well, as I'd like my Firebird to have one eventually (once I get around to it). I figured I'd do the strat first as it's probably the simplest of the three.
Actually, looking at the cost of those prevals, it's definitely worth a test. Thanks for the link.
