  • I really want one of these:

Atomic world time, solar powered etc just like that g-shock only it looks much nicer, IMO.
Its about 350 quid though, which is quite a lot for a quartz Casio...

  • Would it be wrong to dip into* the savings I have put away for an impending engagement ring purchase for this?

Think it would be a neat partner to my moon watch.

    *empty

  • It would be wrong.

    Get the ring.

  • The boss speaks the truth.

    #inthesameboat

  • Get the ring!

  • Ring prevails.

  • i am in the same boat, and made the same decision.

  • Buy shoes instead.

  • Buy the watch, get a cheaper ring.

  • I was shocked, after being a long time Pistonhead reader, that it's not common practice these days for the lady to reciprocate with an 'engagement watch'. Seems that's not standard practice outside that forum.

Don't think it'd go down well if I were to suggest the idea.

  • I have made enough hints, that I hope she does the engagement watch thing, after i ask her...

  • Engagement rings, engagement watches... what a load of old cock.

  • blah, blah blah...

  • All you need is the "Yes."

  • Buy the watch, get a cheaper ring.

    she will check

  • All you need is the "Yes."

    And a new watch.

  • I got a watch as a wedding present from my now mrs

  • Me too.

  • she will check

    And?

  • nout!,

just make sure the ring, is "hard to find elsewhere" :)

  • All you need is the "Yes."

    ain't that the truth.

i've got years to buy a posh watch

  • All you need is the "Yes."
