Looks like the etoile and the premier frame have gone, subject to payment/collection. The first dibber on the mixte never pm'd, so I've offered it to the 2nd dibber.
I don't plan on coming to London now, as the others are being collected..... It's easy to get to me though! -

Last chance on the touriste and the sekine.......
Continuing my cull of future 'projects' which I am never going to complete, and still trying to reclaim some much needed garage space, I have for offer some steel for your perusal......
I am located in bishops Stortford, near Stansted airport, on the Liverpool street line.....really easy to drive to also.....if all of these sell by Thursday (tomorrow) midday ish, I will deliver to somewhere north London area, outside the congestion zone, for a group collection for free. They would have to paid for via PayPal first though. If not, collection please.
First up is a Peugeot Touriste from the mid 80's
It's a lovely maroon colour, with gold decals and in pretty good shape...I've blown the cobwebs off, and given it a cursory clean, but with a bit of elbow grease and some polish, this will shine.....it obviously has a few scrapes, but no dents or dings.
It's 56cm CtoC and 56.5 CtoC on the top tube.
It is made of carbolite + tubing and is surprisingly light for a Peugeot....there are 10 gears by Simplex and it has 700c wheels, which have some corrosion and flaking to the chrome of the rims, but with some time and tinfoil, these will look fine. It has the desirable version of the CLB brakes and an Esge rear rack and mudguards, although the front one needs a support arm, as one is missing.
Completely original, ready to tour on!

Peugeot Mixte SOLD
Finally, a bit of a rare beast in this country...
Sekine medialle SHT from late 70's
There is a fair bit about them on the net, but basically, a Japanese brand that moved to Canada in the early 70's to avoid paying import tax.....they made all their frames from double butted steel with plainish lugs. This one, I believe, is the SHT model, which was above the middle of the range out of about 7 models.
It looks much better in the photo, having been crudely rattlecanned silver, with overspray here and there. It is 56cm square and has shimano tourney large flange, 27" wheels which look quite nice, although the rear is buckled quite badly......it will probably need rebuilding as it is too far gone, but I don't know for sure. Although originally a 10 speed (the other shifter is still there), it only has the shimano 500 rear mech in situ. The chainset is not the original, and doesn't seem to fit correctly. Has a selle italia anatomic saddle, which is like a sofa.the stem and bars are ok too.
This will make a nice, cheap conversion beater for someone.....I was going to strip it and lacquer it....the headbadge is very cool!
£55
Obviously, all are used and have some marks to the paintwork ect, but I have been honest in my descriptions, as I always am.
Dibs are fine on the thread, but followed by pm to confirm them please. If not all of them sell in time for the delivery run, them preference will go to those who can collect. Donation to the forum will follow, and I'm away for the weekend.....I think that's it.
Cheers for persevering!
