how right you are, thanks so much for pointing that out...actually the front mech IS drilled ( the band on has been cut away like the shifters...study the pic) I can drill the rear mech cage plate but dont want to mess with the main body, i've not seen one that clean and free of road rash for a long while.
The front mech is indeed a record not super record, the super recor had titanium adjustment screws, but mine weighs in at 92g, the same as SR. -

are brakes also Nuovo? I spent a while trying to identify these I had, and came to conclusion they were SR... Slight differences to yours.

I've got a cleaner NR rear derailleur in my parts bin clearance thread, and an SR front that probably won't interest you as it's the braze-on version.
