For Sale: Carlton Pro / Super Course Steel Racing bicycle 56/57 Campagnolo Nuovo Record 531

My lovely racing bike is for sale, I believe its a Carlton Pro or Super Course with full campagnolo nuovo record groupset.

Components are:

• Campagnolo record hubs laced to Mavic MA40 rims, with beautiful campagnolo skewers.
  
• Campagnolo Record 170 Strada cranks
  
• Campagnolo Record brakes and brake levers with Campagnolo gear and brake cable and white Campagnolo brake hoods.
  
• Complete with Brooks Team Pro large copper rivet saddle and Campagnolo aero seat post 27.2mm
  
• Cinelli criterium handlebars with white Fizik tape and chrome Cinelli caps
  
• Pedals not included in sale.
  
  

The Measurements are:
stand over height 82cm
down tube C-T 57cm
top tube C-C 56cm

The frame is stamped BD96LP which I think might be a postcode for Bradford... there are signs of a serial number begging with a W and ending in a 9 but that's all I can make out.

This bike has been repainted in a lovely turquoise blue and rebuilt, there are a few chips and signs of light rust (and some paint missing around the seat post bolt) but she runs beautifully, brakes are snappy and gears work smoothly. Its just needs a bit of care and someone to enjoy it as I don't get the time!

The photographs show the bike after is was built a couple of years ago as they are all I have on my laptop.. I will try to add some recent photos when I get a chance.

The bike is located at my house in North London N11 1JH, and I am happy to meet somewhere in London but will require a deposit to be paid before I travel to the other side of London only to be stood up, which happened to me once :/

Its a great bike with a great group, however, personally I feel that it would be an easier sale if it had the original paint and decals.

Have a free bump anyway and good luck with the sale.

Yeah I can see your point taxo, I always liked it without decals but you can still get them so it could easily be put back to original condition.!
