Last night I dreamt that lots of people built bikes out of stuff they found in skips and went for a long ride behind a huge silver bus. I think Velocio had organised it. My bike wasn't very good because it was made of table legs and plywood and it was all floppy. I couldn't keep up with everyone which was frustrating because I knew if I could make my bike work I would be really fast. We rode across sand dunes and the bike wobbled all over the place and it was difficult to keep control. There was a narrow path on a ridge with deep soft sand either side and if you went in the sand it was hard to keep going. The path went across a causeway in the sea and I was scared I would fall in. I discovered that my bike worked better if I rode it backwards and held it together with my legs. So I rode backwards and the wind blew bits of wood in my face that were falling off my bike. I remember laughing. We came to a wierd place with deep black mud which was soft like silk and had tyre tracks in it. There was a man with a beard standing by the fence and it seemed like it was his place and we were trespassing in his mud but nothing bad happened. I rode through the mud very slowly and it went on my shoes. Then there was a party and my freind Sian was in a band called Sian and the Murphys and we all agreed they were very good. Her name was written in gold on the poster.
