This is a great frame, but unfortunately my body is not fitting it!

I put it up for sale couple of weeks ago, but had to take it down as I really like it and so tried yet another setup in last ditch attempt (god I'm awkward!), but as I got a great offer of another frame that I've now bought, its time to let my baby go.

These frames have an excellent reputation and are bloody fast and light with the gusseting on the stays adding stiffness to already OS'd stays.

Mine (hopefully soon to be yours!) has had a gorgeous pearlescent white with a red flip paint that is stunning when the light catches it.

Has been well looked after, with only two little chips on the frame (in the pics), and comes complete with forks, headset, and two other conical headset spacers in different sizes.

This is purely a first to confirm they will pay, gets it, as have had my share of time wasters in the past.

I'm looking for only £250 for f+f (prices include postage within UK). Was £235. Now £225 NOW SOLD

Change of BB and cranks and price - Still available
Can also supply fitted a square taper 111mm Campagnolo Centaur BB thats only had a couple of hundred mile on it and is good as new, which suits Dura Ace and Sugino SG75 cranks perfectly, for a sweet £20 extra! BB still available.

    P.S.- Excuse the crap photos.

  • E...what size mate / how tall are you?

  • Oops, thought I'd forgotten something!
    Here's the geometry -

Mine is the large, sizing might seem bit small, but remember its compact geomtery.
I'm 6'1", but an odd shape, it should suit a normal person around 5'10" to 6'2" maybe even 6'3".
It has a high BB of only 40mm drop, so saddle position is higher for that salve look ;) , but it means that it'll take 170mm cranks, with no toe overlap issues (only just though), and no pedal vs. ground situations when really laying it down into corners neither (which it does very well!).

  • Will update with better/proper photos when I can, probably tomorrow.

  • Found a couple of pics -

  • you selling your saddle bud?

  • Sorry mate, but not a chance!

Saddle/post/stem/bars/wheels are only there for a frame mock up so peeps cans see what it looks like built.

  • Just built up my one, and it's so lovely, went out for a quick hack this afternoon and its just great. Someone buy it!

  • was this the original paint job? why did you change it? can't help thinking it would have a lot more interest in its original state

  • It wasn't me, but the original owner, also a forum member, who had it re-painted.

And to be fair it is gorgeous in the flesh, I'm just a shite photographer!

  • aha. yeah the new paint job looks good as well, sorry for sticking my oar into your sale thread.

  • And yeah, to answer your question, I do believe that was the original paint.

  • Lol! No worries mate. :D

  • Price drop.

  • BB offer has changed for a Campagnolo square taper.

  • If only I had the money... Just love the new paintjob, and the frame itself just looks stunning...

  • It's very hard to see in any photo, but the pearl white has a red flip which is pretty stunning...

  • Is there an XL, or is this the largest size that they do?

I'd normally be after a ~57cm top tube

  • ^^ Thanks rj1s and kingofinsania!

^ This is the largest size they did that year Damnit.

Its not too hard emulate a 57cm TT though, slight setback post and a stem 1cm longer.

You also have to remember its 40mm BB drop, instead of the road standard of around 70mm (and from what I've seen 55-60mm for most track), so due to that you do have a slightly longer saddle to bars anyway.

  • ^^ Thanks rj1s and kingofinsania!

Can't seem to get this bike out of my head... Thing is this would be my first build, and don't wanna mess up this beauty...

  • Its was nowhere near my first build, but it was my first fixed build, and its not hard to get it right on this frame, wish I'd taken some photos of it as it was in its finished guise.

I'd go for a seat post with not much setback if any, and try and put more length in the stem if needed.

Good seat post and stem combos are not hard to find if you use same manufacturer.

I found saddle was important to the looks (and comfort!), I had a Selle Italia SLR on and suited it nicely as it was minimal.

In fact, I think minimal worked well for this frame full stop, white frame, everything else black or silver.

  • Also, as its already got a higher BB (and so higher saddle height) I would suggest compact drops such as the FSA Omega or Botrager Race VR-C bars (a forum fav!), one of which I had on it and one I have one new bike, both highly recommended, and not track style super deep drops.

  • Another price drop, will have to stick it on ebay soon.

  • Are you london based? Can I come and have a look?

  • I'm in Ashford Surrey, out near Heathrow, the nearest tube is Hatton Cross on the Piccadilly line, rail is Ashford (from Waterloo, Vauxhall, or Clapham Junction), or Feltham (same line, but is still just within zone 6 for oyster card users).
