  • What a wicked few days, well done UK teams - loved cheering you all on.

Amazing polo but do want to kill the person that started the Edison's chant, has been in my head ever since.

  • Back in London. Karlsruhe & Geneva, what a great 10 days, never had more fun at polo.

For those of you not at the worlds, you missed out, while I didn't play much polo, even watching was amazing, which ever court you went to, you'd see amazing teams playing each other.

Geneva did an amazing job, so many people helping out, many of them didn't even play polo, and they had a great setup there.

    Highlights for me:
    Great games
    Swimming in the river
Vegetarian pizza cooked at the court
    Meeting loads of great people
    Yorgo's polo car

    "Lanyard Tan!"
    "Edi-edi-edisons, edisons, ediso-o-ons"
    "You're drunk on power!"

  • Agreed, Geneva are freaking amazing at organising tournaments, what a trip.

I've never had such fun on/off the court with Spring Break and the bike polo community as a whole. It was a bit of a shame to be knocked out so early on the final day, but c'est la vie: Rappers and Gettin Wild repped hard for the UK, nice one guys!

Highlights: super hot, bridge jumping, deck chairs, tree climbing, swimming, sandwiches, tappy town, Aussie heckles, h-bomb's replacement fork, cold beers, free lunch, respect for the refs, radio fun and beating the NA teams.

Huge thanks to the lanyard crew and organisers, it must have been a shit-tonne of work.

  • who was the MVP?

  • Luca + Dusty

  • Luca + Dusty

    nice

  • Anyone got a size L worlds tee that they'd swap for a small?

  • What a weekend! So many highlights... movies by the lake and the last game of the wildcard (with Laurent's french commentary and Thomas's celebrations) should be added to the list.
It was a massive privilege to play so much polo in such great company.
Super proud of all the UK teams and massive thanks to Jake and Nick, Colin and Yohei and everyone else.

  • Oh yes, the wildcard playoffs. That seems so long ago now. They were really awesome.

  • Great tournament!

The bunkers, lake and food were incredible. Geneva struck the perfect balance between good vibes and competitive polo.

Big love to the LPC and Cambridge Crew x

Also tough luck to Spring Break to have a rough saturday, you guys along with Nice Touch, Cosmic and Gettin' Mild really surprised the world. Pretty proud to be part of this scene.

  • Fuck yes Gettin Wild!

    Congrats Luca!

  • Props to everyone involved with this tournament it was ace. Teams were never rushed onto court but yet it still ran perfectly on time. John H did a great job with scheduling and I really appreciate it.

Geneva is a great place and at first my week felt more of a holiday in a great place with great people. It made it much easier to simply enjoy myself rather than get stressed/nervous.

Massive thanks to my teammates you guys played awesome. Emmet played his heart out as per usual and did alot of the hard work and b was a fortress in goal, yet also scored some rad goals.

unlucky spring break, you guys were playing some of the best polo I have ever seen all week and sometimes the draw can give a tough break. I have no doubt you guys will kill it at the LO and all future tournaments.

  • So what's the state of UK polo compared to other scenes - any clear styles emerging etc.??

  • Thanks so much to the geneva crew, Clemont, Quentin, Sarah, Bidou, JohnH, Manu, far too many people too mention. The organisation was flawless. Thanks to Ivana for such wonderful hosting. The river / lake were amazing. I spoke to a few people who who happy to see the 'steering hand' rule replaced with 'The city must have a freshwater bathing spot'.
Coming 4th at the 4th was a dream. Gutted not to have played Guardians, but Damn Lefty Joe can hit that ball. So proud of my team mates, playing with two MVP's is a privilege. And the support from the crowd and especially LPC was amazing. Thanks to Erin, Ali and Spring break for fixing my bike without hesitation and with such speed. I think breaking something and having the LPC pit crew go to town on my bike is my favourite part of bike polo. Your never left alone to sort your shit out when your from London. So many high fives, bananas, snack bars and beers to sip on in time outs made me really happy. xxb

  • How did I miss this? I think I was getting patched up by the medic. Damn!

"Won't somebody think of the children" - Jono, SB.

  • I've just realised that Ryan rode someone else's bike, that was generous!

  • I hope they burned the saddle.

  • Ha, brilliant! Someone get this on a t-shirt. Maybe the new LPC banner?

  • Streaking in Geneva seems to have tradition.

  • ...and it was a Brooks.
