Well - nothing like a last minute check of a bike you've barely used in the past 6 months.
I just went to inflate my rear tire and the entire valve burst off.
I've re-affixed it but who knows how long it'll last. I figure if I can make it to Greenwich then I'll risk it and if it pops off on the ride then I'll live up to my earlier threat of walking home.
Now. Bed. See you in a few hours.
