  • @ nefarious yes I pretty much routinely low carb/sugar, I eat only small amounts of starch very occasionally, maybe once a week I'll eat oatmeal, buckwheat or sweet potato, I only eat sugar when I am in 'holiday' mode. I can train for ninety minutes on an empty stomach. Once you kill the sugar/starch you effectively become a 'fatburner.

    I tried my first 24 hour fast today. From 5pm yesterday afternoon until about now. I ate nothing but did drink some tea & coffee with a dash of milk. It has been OK. Since about 2pm (three hours ago), I have felt a little light headed and have been very hungry. I am looking forward to eating in a minute.

    Will I do it again, for sure I will. Although 24 hours is about as long as I want to go without food so I think I am heading little by little toward a daily fast as per http://www.leangains.com
