For Sale: Youngs Road Bicycle - £150

Hello!

I bought this bike two years ago, and since then it has been my pride and joy. It was made by a shop in London in 1983. Until two years ago, it was never seriously ridden. It has been a great London commuter bike. Now I am moving out of the country - I need to sell it!

The bike is in good condition. The gears work, the brakes works. The frame is Reynolds 531 tubing and fairly light, 56 cm. The bike has fenders and a carrier platform on the back.

I can throw a few extras in if you would like them. I have a D lock, a few lights, a helmet and a cycling jacket.

Glad it was of good use to you! Youngs bike shop was a top bike shop and still is! But sadly don't make steel frames anymore... I remember you shouting at the top of your voice with delight when I cycled off in you North American accent... lol!

No one has bought the bike yet. I am going on holiday until October. I will repost this bike when I get back.

I'm pretty sure that Youngs were in Lewisham some time back. Had a 22 1/2" frame made for me which i rode as a fixed wheel for a few years until some little magpies from up the road helped themselves. Loved that bike
