  • It's hot and dry, of course it will last. I'll drive it so no horrible monkeys loading it into containers. Take it and thrash some locals.

  • Not sure how I'd feel about traversing Bosnia, Serbia, Iraq, and Syria though.

  • Iran's safe though, right?

  • Sand. I have plenty of friends who have lived out in Dubai and there is a reason all cars over there are brand new mate. The amount of particles and dust that work their way into the engine is quite damaging to the internals.

That and the rubbish tarmac means he'd be going sideways more often than not! ;)

    You'll be fine...

Grow a beard and get a dish dash.

  • Man up.

  • Sand. I have plenty of friends who have lived out in Dubai and there is a reason all cars over there are brand new mate. The amount of particles and dust that work their way into the engine is quite damaging to the internals.

Are there still rolls by the side of the road?

  • You'll be fine...

Hes too hansome, get him a burka.

  • ^^ Yeah, but thats just a replica...

  • With shut lines that good? No way.

  • That's no replica. It's a well known example that was left for works by some wealthy arab in Dubai who never bothered to pick it up. The garage couldn't get hold of the owner so left it outside for a year or so. Apparently the damage was caused solely by the elements, although I don't see how the front spoiler broke and disappeared...

  • You can also see the way the body panels have torn indicating weave rather than alu, which would be correct for this model of vehicle. ;)

  • alright, I'll keep the myth alive. (cough/rear3/4window/cough)

  • pfft that looks real!
    bolt-ons on an F40?

  • The wing emblem was deteriorated by the sand as well. (I think I forgot to mention).

  • That's not real Minky. No way. Your story may be true, but it's not that car.

There shouldn't be a split frame in the window. F40 had centre lock wheels.

Just to re-iterate two points already made.

  • Wheels are also too deep.

  • Anyway, if it was a lamborghini he would have never left it in the sand

  • Thanks for clearing that up Saadat ;)

I think it was built on a Pontiac.

But the earlier point about the environment out there is made.

  • ^^that is fooking cool. Lego hyperness.

  • There are probably 20 or 30 E30s dumped at the airport in Dubai, by fleeing ex-pats.

Why the fuck anyone would ever consider going to such a backwards shithole is beyond me.

  • ££££££££

  • Why the fuck anyone would ever consider going to such a backwards shithole is beyond me.

says the man who moved to Bethnal green some years ago.

    ;)
