Six weeks to the day and got to see x-rays of how my leg is doing. First time I got to see the metal work inside me and it's quite impressive - a big screw through my femur head attached to a plate with four screws attaching it to the femur shaft.
The bone is healing fine but it's not healed enough for them to let me cycle as they don't want me falling on it before it's full strength, no matter how low the odds, so could be two months till I am allowed to cycle again. Might see if I can ride some rollers at home in the mean time.
Until then it's going to be a lot of time in the gym rebuilding all the leg muscles they had to cut through during surgery.
